Knoxville, Tennessee, celebrated its 225th anniverary in 2016. Its heritage is filled with well-known people and events, but very little is known about the lives and contributions that everyday people have made toward its growth and prosperity. Join Dr. Timothy Baumann, curator of archaeology and a research associate professor at the University of Tennessee’s McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture, as he discusses some of the hidden stories unearthed from artifacts and building foundations left behind.

Presented in collaboration with the Mound City Chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society.
